Global Exotic Animal Registry (GEAR) is a Private South African registry for all breeds of canines and felines. They are passionate about animals and put an emphasis on ethical breeding and giving back to animals in need.

Global Exotic Animal Registry (GEAR) approached our team with a unique challenge:
- Build a website that would showcase their services.
- Provide their clients with a comprehensive online system to manage their kennel or cattery information.
- Build a backend system for GEAR management.
- Create an exciting brand identity.
A Website fit for the… Dogs
The main goal of the project was to create a user-friendly website and online system for their clients to capture all the information they needed about their kennel or cattery. The online system needed to track their clients’ adult dogs and cats, puppies and kittens, transfers to new owners, new matings, and provide support. Global Exotic Animal Registry also needed to be able to upload their clients’ new dog or cat pedigrees and transfer their dogs to new clients, with their own backend system.
Ready… Set… Roll Over
After discussing the project with the GEAR team, we set out to create a custom website, online system and backend system.
We needed to design a new website that would display all the information they needed, such as breed bios, blogs, medical conditions, and their charity page GEARelief. The Online system was the most important task of the project, as that’s where most of their business would take place. We had to make sure everything ran smoothly and intuitively for their clients. This was a completely new system we had to build from the ground-up. We integrated a custom database management tool into their website to help their clients manage all the data they needed.
Pawsomeness
The outcome was great! We built a seamless system for their clients to work on, and a beautiful website for potential clients and the public to view. They were ecstatic about the website and all its features. GEAR now has a user-friendly system in place to manage their clients’ information, and they have a dynamic website that truly represents their unique services.
